The Directors Council of Iran International Exhibitions Company was held with a focus on management performance in international exhibitions The third meeting of Directors and Deputies Council of Iran International Exhibitions Company was held on 04.05.1391 of this year in the presence of Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of the company Mr. Akbarpour, deputies, managers from different divisions, and a number of experts according to the schedule of meetings, with a focus on management performance in international exhibitions, reported from the Public Relations and International Affairs of Iran International Exhibitions Company. According to the report, at this meeting, after the recitation of verses from the Quran, the secretary of the meeting greeted the audience, and referred to the importance and blessings of Directors Council meeting in last year. He said that such meetings can increase the interaction and synergy between company managers, avoid parallel works, create constructive criticism of performance, and benefit from the collective wisdom. This report says that, after expressing the opinions of his management division, Alavi Director of International Exhibition demanded to create more interaction in order to improve the quality and quantity of foreign exhibitions. After an annual report was offered by Alavi, Director of International Exhibition, he outlined the objectives of his division in this year; and then the audience offered their own suggestions to promote the quantity and quality of foreign exhibitions. According to the last sessions, at the end of session, the honorable Managing Director of the company started talking about the intended performance of management. After a reference to the position and role of management of international exhibitions at the company and its importance, he stated the related comments, this report said. Congratulating Sha’baniyeh feasts and also appreciating those participated in holding the event of National Meeting of Expo 2015 Milan, Akbarpour said: as one of the most important infrastructure parts, the section of foreign exhibitions plays an important role in the mobility of exhibition to achieve the objectives of development programs of Iran International Exhibitions Company. Then, Akbarpour cited the following cases for the use of the management of foreign exhibitions to promote the quality and quantity of foreign exhibitions: - Emphasizing on the slogan of the year (National Production, Supporting Iranian Work and Capital) - Developing the exhibition’s packages - Launching the double plan of exhibition - Drafting different Memorandums of Understanding by the marketing management – Examining and providing the infrastructure needed to represent foreign companies - Registering visitors in mechanized and electronic form - International exhibition should be pushed toward the objectives of privatization in various government sectors. Summarizing discussions and suggestions at the end of this session, the Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of Iran International Exhibitions Company stated some strategies, which should be considered in its future plans of the management, for the executives. |
