On the sidelines of the third day of ELECOMP, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Islamic Republic of Iran International Exhibitions Company and Irancell

Key areas of cooperation under this agreement include the development of 5G infrastructure, provision of dedicated high-speed Wi-Fi services, smartening exhibitions through the Internet of Things (IoT) for energy, parking, and traffic management, creating virtual and metaverse exhibitions, establishing digital payment and access control systems, deploying autonomous vehicles with V2X technology, offering location-based advertising (LBA) solutions, analyzing visitor behavior, and utilizing Irancell’s cloud services with dedicated SLA and high availability.

This MoU represents a significant step toward digital transformation in the exhibition industry and positions the Tehran International Permanent Fairground as the pilot smart exhibition center of the country.
