Development of Urban Infrastructure and Support for Specialized Exhibitions in the Capital

On the fourth day of ELECOMP, a joint meeting was held at the Tehran International Permanent Fairground with the participation of Mr. Hossein Khosh-Eghbal, Governor of Tehran, and Mr. Sodeyf Beikzadeh, Managing Director of the Islamic Republic of Iran International Exhibitions Company.

In this meeting, Mr. Beykzadeh, while expressing appreciation for the special support of the Tehran Governor’s Office and the Provincial Government in organizing the country’s most important technological event, emphasized the pivotal role of exhibition activities in the capital in advancing the economic development of both the country and the city of Tehran. The two sides underscored the necessity of developing urban infrastructure and providing comprehensive support for exhibition activities at the Tehran International Permanent Fairground, particularly in light of the unjust international sanctions.

Following the meeting, the Governor of Tehran, accompanied by the Managing Director and members of the Board of Directors of the Islamic Republic of Iran International Exhibitions Company, toured various sections of the nation’s largest technological event and engaged in discussions with information technology professionals.

This year’s ELECOMP, by showcasing domestic capabilities and technological capacities, along with the strong presence and support of national officials and authorities, symbolizes a collective determination to realize the objectives of digital transformation and the smart development of various economic and social sectors.
