Abdullah bin Saud Al-Anzi, Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to Iran, met and held discussions with Beikzadeh, Managing Director, and Tondguyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Exhibitions Company of the Islamic Republic of Iran, regarding Iran's participation in Expo 2030 Riyadh. The meeting took place at the permanent site of the Tehran International Exhibitions.
During this session, attended by a representative from Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both sides emphasized the necessity of expanding economic cooperation commensurate with the growing momentum in bilateral political relations, particularly through the exchange of exhibition-related services.
The Saudi Ambassador, highlighting the strong commitment of high-level officials from both countries to elevate bilateral ties, underscored the importance of Iran’s distinguished and robust presence at Expo 2030 Riyadh, given Iran’s long-standing historical legacy.
Abdullah bin Saud Al-Anzi, referring to his visits to Iran’s specialized international exhibitions and expressing admiration for the production and export capabilities of Iranian companies, expressed hope that creating opportunities for active participation by economic stakeholders from both Iran and Saudi Arabia in each other’s exhibitions would further facilitate economic and trade cooperation.
During the meeting, both parties expressed optimism that through enhanced exhibition collaboration, a prominent presence at Saudi Arabia’s Expo 2030, and the signing of mutual exhibition cooperation memoranda of understanding, effective steps would be taken toward further developing and strengthening relations between the two countries.
Expo 2030, themed “Shaping Our Future Together,” will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for six months.
