In the Presence of the Oil Minister; The 29th International Oil, Gas, Refining, and Petrochemical Exhibition Kicks Off

The 29th edition of the International Oil, Gas, Refining, and Petrochemical Exhibition officially opened today, May 8, at the Tehran International Permanent Fairground with the broad participation of domestic officials and representatives from foreign countries.

The opening ceremony was attended by Mohsen Paknejad, the Minister of Oil; Sadif Beikzadeh, CEO of the Islamic Republic of Iran International Exhibitions Company; deputies from the Ministry of Oil; members of the Iranian Parliament; ambassadors; and representatives from foreign countries.

In his speech, the Minister of Oil emphasized the importance of the event, stating: “Our goal in holding this exhibition is to showcase all the capacities and capabilities of the country in various sectors of the oil and gas industry. This event is not merely a commercial gathering but a symbol of Iran’s pivotal role in the regional and international energy arena.”

The exhibition covers more than 37 specialized sectors of the oil, gas, refining, and petrochemical industries and hosts companies and representatives from 14 countries, including China, Russia, Spain, Italy, South Korea, Germany, and Belarus.

The 29th International Oil, Gas, Refining, and Petrochemical Exhibition, with the participation of nearly 1,000 Iranian companies and 315 foreign companies, will be open to industry professionals until May 11 at the Tehran International Permanent Fairground under the central theme: Investment in the Oil Industry, a Guarantee for Economic Growth and Development.
